Who do you work for? Powers Whiskey which is part of Irish Distillers Pernod-Ricard

What is your favourite book? Flowers for Algernon by Daniel Keys

Name your three favourite movies? Star Trek First Contact, The Crow and Blade Runner

Have you a favourite movie quote? I’ve seen things you people wouldn’t believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-Beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in the rain – Blade Runner

What is your favourite holiday destination: My favourite place I have ever been was Dalat in Vietnam but the place I love returning to is Barcelona. It is a city full of vibrancy, humanity and passion. Creativity is laude and mediocrity is challenged. I hope to eventually live there.

What is the first thing you do when you get home from abroad? Get a pint of Beamish in Birchall’s in Crumlin

What is your favourite sandwich? The Reuben in Swift Hibernian Lounge in Manhattan or The Reuben in P Macs in Dublin

If you could travel back in time where would you go? 1881 Tombstone, Arizona

If you could be a cartoon character, who would you be and why? Akira from the Manga cartoon because of his humanity in the face of travesty.

If you could shop anywhere for free where would it be? Beacons Closet in Brooklyn

Who are your favourite current band and favourite band of all time? Currently I’m listening to loads of Them Crooked Vultures. My favourite band are Soundgarden

What do you think is the greatest invention of all time? The Pot Still

If you could win a Noble Peace Prize, an Academy Award or an Olympic Medal which one would you choose? An Academy Award for Best Screenplay

Finally, If you could pick three people, dead or alive, to have dinner with, who would they be? All deceased unfortunately. My Grandmother, Patricia Carr, because she was a wonderful conversationalist and always interested. My Godmother, May McCabe, because of her kindness and love and my old friend, Shane McGrath, who passed away a lifetime ago but who helped me figure out who I am today.
